Lymphatic Detox Massage (Intro, Upper and Lower Body) – IN PERSON (3 seperate classes, 9 hour, 12 hour and 15 hours; Intro is prerequisite for Upper and Lower)

Course Description:  Lymphatic Detox maximizes the therapeutic effects of massage therapy especially with regards to reducing inflammation, relieving pain, calming the nervous system, cleansing the skin and reducing the time needed to heal from injury.  Although extremely gentle and subtle, the effects are potent on a physical level.

The introductory course prepares the student for subsequent study of Upper body (including facial) protocols for lymphatic massage, and Lower body protocols (including abdominal detox). Lymphatic detox has been my massage of choice for pre and post surgery, acute injury, and an important strategy for persistent, chronic pain.  Facial detox focuses on rejuvenating and detoxifying the face, with emphasis on hydrating, renewing, and invigorating the skin and underlying tissues of the face.

In the introductory class, students locate major lymph termina, (anatomy, physiology and pathology), and become acquainted with main functions and actions of the lymphatic system, indications, contraindications and precautions.  Students learn protocols to drain the neck, upper body and lower body in respective classes along with self-care practices (which therapists can use to improve their own sleep, speed recovery and refresh and rejuvenate).

Lymphatic self-care includes moving, stretching and breathing and the application of cold and heat therapy to enhance detoxification and speed healing.  A sampler of vital self-detox skills that can be incorporated during, before, or after therapeutic sessions is practiced in each class. To inquire about private tutoring for 1 or 2 people or booking a class for 4 or more people CLICK HERE.
